Wanneer je een creatieve portret fotoshoot boekt bij Sophie Vermeulen, is deze inclusief:
- One 45-minute online meeting via Zoom, or in person. Here we’ll get to know each other. I’ll ask you some creative questions and discuss your wishes.
- Op basis van ons gesprek maak ik vervolgens een plan en bepaal ik welke materialen ik ga gebruiken tijdens de shoot. Je kunt ook je favoriete materialen meenemen, zoals je favoriete eten of bloemen.
- Een fotoshoot van twee uur in mijn atelier in Arnhem (Nederland), waar ik zorg voor alle benodigde materialen. Drankjes zijn inbegrepen.
- Afterwards, you’ll receive 3 digitally edited images of your art portrait. Additionally, I can also provide you with prints.

Femke : ‘The photoshoot with Sophie was super cool! I liked it because I didn’t know exactly what to expect. I had no idea of the different materials Sophie was going to be working with. It was surprising, but at the same time, very exciting! A photoshoot with Sophie is a crazy experience. I enjoyed the creative process. With every shoot, Sophie comes up with something new and crazy to create a beautiful picture. Also, I feel it is very special to look back at the pictures and remember the fantastic afternoon we spent!’
Aart : ‘Sophie photographed me with cabbage leaves, heart papers, serviettes, paint and wool. During the shoot, Sophie was set to work with materials I didn’t know how they would work out on my body. It was very relaxing, I didn’t need to do much and could surrender to what Sophie was creating. The result surprised me. The result was a mixture between my face and Sophie’s creative impulses. So it was a portrait of me, but then different!’
Wieteke : ‘This experience with Sophie was very special. It was a lot of fun and well organised with good make-up work. Sophie gave clear instructions about my posture and poses and the atmosphere was very casual. Especially because she photographed me together with some of my friends. She surprised me with her ideas and the pictures turned out beautiful and unique. Her creative ideas and unique – acrobatic – poses, gave some surprising effects.’
Sjoerd : 'Sophie photographed me with milk and yoghurt. The photo shoot was physically demanding because it was cold. Also, dairy stinks when it warms up. It was a bit disgusting. But funnily enough, it gave a kick! As if my body was there for Sophie to create art. It was such a purifying experience. And I have to say Sophie also made it a rather cosy photoshoot. All in all, it was relaxing and exhilarating at the same time!’
