Art Slimane

During this residency, Sophie worked in Marrakech, Morocco, at Art Slimane.

The pictures you see were taken by Sophie of her fellow artist colleagues and the animals living on the grounds. Besides taking gorgeous pictures, Sophie spent most of her time here creating new designs and using amazing plants and flowers she found at Art Slimane during her stay here. In collaboration with illustrator Myriam Keijzer (Studio Zomaar Zon), a fellow resident, Vermeulen created a set of postcards showing the art they both made in Morocco. Curious? Click here.
